The upper wires set has been completely manufactured using new parts and wire. The installation allowed the wings to hang the same as the temporary wires but I needed the turnbuckles for the temporary bottom set.
The picture shows a shot looking down the new lower leading edge with the temporary bottom set of wires all properlt tensioned. I carefully measured the length of each matching pair of wires side to side, making sure they are the same. I sighted the leading and trailing edges to assure they were straight too. Too much tension will easily deform these long tubes.
The second shot shows the turnbuckles that are nicoed in each wire for adjustment.
The next step will be to remove these lower temporary wires, measure each cable, make a new set of proper wires using new tangs and reinstall.
